Created in collaboration with Italian kitchen brand,Veneta Cucine, the i green kitchen concept by Indian designer Nilay Shah, aims to promote a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle. The concept comprises of movable trays crafted out of wood and bio-degradable plastic that can also be used in cutting, drying, preserving, measuring and serving the produce.

What’s Different?
The core design places a strong emphasis on “Green Design” that is implemented via the reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink philosophy of the concept. Using the ambiance of a traditional Indian vegetable market, the kitchen segregates and stores produce, most organically. By dissuading the usage of refrigeration, the kitchen design helps users purchase and store only what they need and that too in the minimum desired quantities, thereby promoting the usage of organic food and reducing wastage.

Pricing and availability
The design concept is still in its infancy though it certainly makes a great case for itself as a kitchen of the future.
