St George, an Australian company has brought an ‘EcoSafe’ Double Oven whose innovative design has won it the prestigious Australian International Design Award. The multifunctional kitchen oven with a 92 litre upper oven and a 62 litre lower oven has been designed to provide maximum safety and minimize energy loss.
The four layers of glass in the oven door create a cool safe to touch surface at all temperatures. The ‘stopsol’ coated reflective glass layer of the inner door and the Bio Soluble Insulfrax Blanket Insulation around the oven helps in retaining the heat inside the oven, minimizing heat loss and economizing energy cost.
The ergonomically designed knobs, the telescopic racks and the optional side-opening doors provide easy accessibility. Both the upper and the lower oven have nine cooking functions. The easy to understand and use control panel with laser etching ensures that the selected cooking function and the temperature settings are permanent and non-removable. Perhaps the best offer that St George is giving its customers is after the end of the product life the company is ready to accept the old appliance for recycling.
