Whenever I have had to take pieces of meat out of the barbeque grills to check if it’s done properly, I have wondered whether there can’t be an easier way of ensuring the level to which meat has been cooked in the barbeque. It seems the Grilling Tool Light was invented in answer to my prayers. The working is really simple. All you got to do is attach the lamp to the handle of your stainless steel grilling tool (except on 18/10 grade stainless steel), fork or spatula. The convenient On/Off button lets you throw bright white light from 3 small LED lights on the meat being cooked. The ball-and-socket neck of the lamp enables you to rotate the lamp 360 degrees, while you set it an angle that best suits your visibility of the cooking meat.
These lamps made in China run on 3 button cell batteries. As an added advantage, the LEDs put all energy into producing light. Also, you are spared the hassle of long cords. What’s more, the lamps are shock-resistant. I wouldn’t call this an amazing invention, and I doubt if it is going to become a rage. But this tiny magnetic lamp would, in all probability, prove to be quite useful to those who frequently hold outdoor barbeque dinners. They come cheap, $14.95, so you can’t lose much.

If only they can fit it with an infra red scanner and an LCD panel that can tell you how well done your meat is, this thing would be just perfect, wouldn’t it?
