We have seen many cordless gadgets till date, but Justin Armistead’s Induction Clothes Iron takes this concept to the next level by combining it with the power of induction technology. Using zone-less induction as the heat source, the Induction Clothes Iron discards those messy wires and makes ironing as easy as eating a piece of cake. The concept features a state-of-the-art steam iron and a foldable ironing table. The iron willingly plays the second fiddle and lets the table take control of the situation. The table contains the power source and electric controls and features two areas - the ‘heat zone’, which is equipped with electro magnetics and the ‘cool area’ for placing the iron. The table also features a storage container to place the iron when not in use.
The iron itself is equipped with a water spray nozzle. But the best part is the button grooves on the base plate which allows you to place the iron conveniently between two buttons while ironing. All in all the Induction Clothes Iron is a pretty cool combination of technology and imagination.
