Plan a local picnic so that you drive less and hence pollute less. Try using reusable Utensils, napkins, thermoses and plastic containers and recycle bottles and cans. Support local farms by resorting to fresh, local, organic whole foods. Pack your garbage and take it back with you. Protect habitat from pets and kids by leashing your pets and defining a territory to your kids. Use natural bug repellent and sunscreen as they are inherently more nourishing than the synthetic ones.
