What do you do with your shelves when they are no longer in use? In my case, they just decorate my lumber room. But Piegato is something different from the rest. Designed by Matthias Ries, Piegato is a novel wall shelf concept that can be easily fixed, carried, folded or kept within minutes. Surprisingly it’s made out of a single sheet of steel board. The cuts have been designed in such a way that the shelves are opened if required, or else concealed back to the flat structure. But there is no need put it in the dustbin if you don’t need it anymore. Close all the shelves and affix some old pics to turn it into a good mural of the study-room revealing all your past memories.
