In Mayan, Hool means a hole. The Hool concept shelf is designed by Christian Vivanco and envisages putting holes in a bamboo unit. There are four shelves that are put at varying heights throughout the length of the unit. To take the hole-bit further, the unit revolves so as to put a particular shelf in the direct view at one time. Others are neatly hidden away from the view and therein you can store stuff that you’d not want others have access to. At one side of the unit is a handy hook for hanging coats etc. The unit is longitudinally designed to save floor space. At present a concept, surely several manufacturers would be vying to translate Hool into reality.
